In addition to the many elements of a nation that merely pushing the interests of groups, whether religious-based fundamentalists, ethnic, or racial, that indicator can be seen in the discriminatory policies on many sphere.

Here, we have not learned much from history. As if only the chronological history of events, a count of the number, year, and also cause and effect. This can be seen from the human tragedy which threw the year 1965-1966 the roots of selfhood nation, at both the state until the family environment. Rather than serve as the media learned of the past, the event became a turning point in civilization and cultural spread fear in the level of the community. In a panel of policy and institutional life of the nation-state, the conference participants highlighted the attitude of many policy holders who are not sensitive to conditions that occur in the community associated with the event of conflict and events of past crimes. Consequently, the apathy of the past are increasingly strengthened, while the people who are victimized and sacrificed requires disclosure of the truth of the events they experience. Policy in the field of culture is not much different. Recommendation

From the description above problems, there are a number of ideas and alternative models are proposed. Here, the participants managed to formulate some principles and important spaces that should be encouraged to open a larger space in the living together as a nation. It was among others the need for preparation of the ethical ideas of nationality to be an ethical basis for making policy. Nationality ethics that includes the principle of honesty, high-minded, independent, sovereign, respect the "little guy", diversity and pride in their own (nation), maintain self-esteem and dignity and to be fair.

With the existence of the National Ethics, it is hoped the nation-state policies would lead to policies that contain the truth from the side and aligned to the people. Also expected to overshadow the Ethics Nationality community reconciliation efforts as a forerunner to the culture of reconciliation so as to create a new imagination of reintegration for the Indonesian nation. Growth are also required, again as a nation self-determination. This can be done through re-education in accordance with national ethics previously mentioned. Step it presupposes the existence of intellectual base and adequate mental and material basis as a supporter.

On the other hand also initiated the need to build a collective consciousness about the affirmation of common identity, independence, solidarity and sacrifice attitude based human values and nationhood that transcends the boundaries of primordial ties, the spirit of justice and truth.
